Letters from the war front
The letters written by the organist Jehan Alain who died in the battle fields in WWI formed the inspiration for this beautiful performance, theatre and organ. Starring actress Brigitte Fossey and organist Michel Bouvard.
Myrrh, triggers your senses
Five different musical compositions of César Franck, Händel en Gorecki, are accompanied by five visualizations of the music by mime and acting.
Canto Ostinato, east meets west
Derwisj dancer Kadir Sonuk and the excellent organist Aart Bergwerff attracted full crowds in the Dom Church (Utrecht) with the successfull combination of eastern dance and organ. Music by Simeon ten Holt.
Organic Dialogue, multimedia in the church
This installation consists of video projections and several metres of white-transparent tulle which give the audience the feeling of a three-dimensional environment floating in the space of the church. By Fabio Monni and Alessandro Perini.
Organotronics, sensation in the church
The Czech organist Kateřina Chroboková and international colleagues presented a modern performance during the festival in which electronics, light art, video projections and organ.
Opera on organ
Organist Yves Rechsteiner played the beautiful organ music of Rameau's while being accompanied by the percussionist Charles-Henri who played a variety of sometimes peculiar instruments (2 October 2011)
Wind Images
Tsjêbbe Hettinga’s haunting poetry and lyrical improvisations provide the inspiration for the music of Reitze Smits (organ) and Sytze Pruiksma (drums).
Acrobatics in Organ & Circus
Art de la Rue amazed the audience with a smashing act in which the choreography was accompanied by organ music played by the Dutch organist Hugo Bakker. Music by Händel, Vierne and Satie.
